Equine Studies Minor


The Equine Studies Minor requires the successful completion of 15 semester hours as follows:

AGSC 193: Introduction to Equine Science (3)
AGSC 342: Agricultural Entrepreneurship (3)
AGSC 352: Animal Reproduction (3)
AGSC 353: Equine Reproduction Practicum (2)
AGSC 375: Equine Exercise Physiology (3)

OPTION A: complete all three of the following courses:

AGSC 152: Horsemanship Level I (1)
AGSC 153: Horsemanship Level II (1)
AGSC 154: Horsemanship Level III (1)

OR OPTION B: complete one of the following courses:

AGSC 110: Principles of Plant Agriculture (4)
AGSC 252: Horse Training Techniques (3)
AGSC 310: Forage Crops (3)
AGSC 315: Principles of Animal Agriculture (4)
