AGSC 121: LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES

Participation in handling livestock, docking, pregnancy diagnosis, castration, dehorning, and foot trimming is required. The class will be a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on work with livestock. The class may meet at the University Farm, local farms, or in Barnett Hall 152 TEXT Handbook of Livestock Management, 2nd edition, Richard A. Battaglia, 1998. COURSE OUTLINE
