Student completes zoo internship (9/17/2009)
Agricultural Science senior Kelsey McFarland recently completed an internship at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, WI. The internship was arranged through the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, MO and was Kelsey's second summer work experience with the World Bird Sanctuary. Kelsey's work during the internship included care of and handling a variety of birds during public presentations.
About the photo with bald eagle, "Clark", Kelsey said, "Wow. It's all I can say. Having a bald eagle with a seven foot wingspan swoop to your glove is just...Wow."
