Sigma Alpha

A PROFESSIONAL AGRICULTURAL SORORITY Are you interested in becoming involved in a worthwhile agricultural organization? One that allows you to sharpen your leadership, communication and organizational skills? One that emphasizes scholastics? One that cares about others and conducts regular service projects? One where you will make some of your closest college friends? Then SIGMA ALPHA is the organization for you! It is the country's only professional agricultural sorority. More importantly, it serves as a way for women studying the many facets of agriculture to belong to an organization that is designed just for them. Sigma Alpha serves as a network as you leave your college environment. It unites you with women from your alma mater and with women from across the country who are involved in agriculture.

SIGMA ALPHA IS NATION-WIDE
Sigma Alpha has proven successful on many campuses across the U.S. since its founding in 1978 at Ohio State University. Sigma Alpha chapters play visible roles on their college campuses. They sponsor various academic and social activities ranging from career seminars to formal parties. Chapters also play active roles in their communities. Individual members strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service.
