What attracted you to Truman?
I didn’t really have any specific thing. Truman was a fair distance from my home but not unbearably far away. Truman also was an affordable school to start at for pre-vet classes.



What do you like best about Truman?
I like the Truman mentality that is found in almost every student I meet. There’s a wide variety of people and if I’m on campus there’s always a face that I recognize.

What do you like most about your classes?
Most of my classes are with teachers from the ag department. I like that they truly care about how their students are doing in class and find ways to help out.

What do you feel is unique about Truman?
The liberal arts studies at Truman allow students to study with an open mind. I know there are other liberal art schools but I feel that Truman stays very focused on expanding the minds of their students.

What are your plans after graduation?
My after graduation plans have changed quite a bit since I started here at Truman. I have gone from Veterinary School to graduate school and now to just finding a good job. We start school so focused on what we are going to do, but I quickly realized that you have to continue on with life with an open mind. Life never goes the way you plan!
