What attracted you to Truman?
I was attracted to Truman because of the size of the college and the affordable price. The hands on opportunities that all the students had at the University farm from working cattle to riding horses was also a big seller.

What do you like best about Truman?
The best thing about Truman by far are the professors. The professors here are not here because they want to earn a huge salary, but are here because they believe in educating young people and really want us to succeed.

What do you like most about your classes?
The classes at Truman are fantastic because of their size. The largest class I have ever had was an introductory chem class, the lecture was 70 people but my lab was only about 20. All the professors learn the names of the kids in their classes and it helps hold the students accountable for attending class.

What do you feel is unique about Truman?
Truman is unique because it gives the students a chance to be involved on campus and become very well diversified. Track athletes can be on equestrian team, and kids in the band can play club volleyball.

Have you studied abroad, done an internship, or participated in undergraduate research?
I have studied abroad in Costa Rica to finish a minor in Spanish, and had two internships with Monsanto. I completed research during one of my internships with Monsanto.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I will either get a job or go to grad school. Right now, preparations are in the making for both options, just waiting to see how the chips may fall.
